Whether it's an individual who consistently goes above and beyond, an innovative parking or mobility program transforming operations, or a leader whose contributions have advanced our profession, this is your opportunity to ensure their accomplishments receive the recognition they deserve.

Award recipients will be recognized during the CMPA Annual Conference & Tradeshow, where we celebrate the people and organizations shaping the future of parking, transportation, and mobility throughout California. All nominations are reviewed by the Awards Committee, with final approval by the CMPA Board of Directors.

Award Categories

  • Parking Professional of the Year – Honors an individual whose leadership, innovation, and dedication have significantly advanced the parking and mobility profession.
  • Public Parking Program of the Year – Recognizes a public agency or institution that has implemented an innovative, effective, and replicable parking or mobility program.
  • Wayne Dalton Award – Celebrates outstanding non-management professionals who consistently exceed expectations through exceptional service and dedication.
  • Legislator of the Year – Recognizes elected officials who have championed legislation benefiting California's parking and mobility industry.
  • President's Award – Presented at the discretion of the CMPA President to recognize extraordinary contributions to the Association and the profession.

CMPA is proud to partner with Mobility Pathfinders to expand opportunities for women across the parking, mobility, and transportation industries. This is a scholarship opportunity that offers an incredible opportunity to attend the CMPA Conference & Tradeshow to women to learn, grow, build relationships, and bring fresh perspectives back to their organizations and the broader industry.

Through the Mobility Pathfinders Scholarship Program, selected recipients will receive full conference registration sponsored by CMPA, while Mobility Pathfinders provides travel and lodging support. This joint effort helps remove financial barriers and opens doors to valuable education, networking, and industry connections at regional conferences.
